Hello!
We had transfer calls Saturday night and I will be staying in Midland with Elder Lenhart. Elder Losee will be leaving to Snyder. I'm glad to be in this area for another six weeks. We are preparing Larry, Marie, and Stacy for baptism very soon!! As well as Julio and Monica! We also had a great teaching experience when following up with a referral we received from mormon.org... Cole had been interested in learning more about LDS people so he requested a missionary visit. When we got there his father answered the door and let us right in. Cole was in the shower but Rick (father) started asking us questions right off the bat. He told us that he was mad at God and mad at his church and he was just looking for peace and happiness. After talking with Rick and Cole for a little bit, we learned that they both have been reading the Book of Mormon online and they thought to themselves that this record could actually be true. We shared the message of the Restoration and answered some of their questions. The Spirit was there and Rick recognized it right away! These amazing lessons make all the knocking and finding worth it. Lots of great things happening around here. We are so excited. Our members are following through with the dice game we play with them and are working on friends and neighbors to share the gospel with. That's about all I have to report on this week.
